"We really enjoyed our stay"
"Hi, stayed in the acres cove in March for 3 days with my family. In total there was 5 adults and 1 child and we found the accommodation very cosy. We really enjoyed our stay and Eamon who was looking after the property looked after us very well. Well done to you Eamon! It helped that we got great 3 days of sunshine although we found the place lovely and the nearby town of Drumshanbo was full of friendly people too, all round i will most certainly return back very soon thanks to all!"

"Close To Kilronan Castle... 60% cheaper "
"My husband and I just spent 2 days here at the beginning of September with 2 other couples. We were attending a friends wedding in Kilronan Castle and left it late to find accommodation. We booked here because the price of the accommodation was around 40% of what it would have cost us to stay in the hotel for 2 nights. Whenever I booked I was worried about how far the accommodation would be from Kilronan Castle but shouldn't have worried as we drove to the venue in 10 minutes from the house here in Drumshanbo. The 6 of us got a taxi back at 2am in the morning (€15 - Drumshanbo Taxis) . My husband picked the car up the next day and we had a great time exploring the nearby towns of Carrick On Shannon and Leitrim Village. The house was very clean and tidy and the kitchen looked well equipped although we just ordered takeaways during our stay. The house manager was helpful in making sure we got a taxi booked for our return from the reception and I would recommend this place as a good base for anyone attending an event in Kilronan Castle."

"House Comfortable & Spotless"
"Just returned after another great holiday in Acres Cove with my wife and 3 kids. Eamon and staff friendly and helpful, house comfortable and spotless as usual. Drumshanbo is a fantastic spot, peaceful and relaxing with plenty of activities nearby for all the family. During our stay we packed in some fishing, golf, paint balling (battlebridge paintballing) and horse riding (Moorlands Equestrian Centre, Drumshanbo). There are plenty of pubs in Drumshanbo and Leitrim Village and Carrick On Shannon are both a few minutes drive away. An ideal holiday spot for all ages."

"A great base to see all the sights"
"We just spent a week in Drumshanbo a great base to see all the sights and fantastic amenities Leitrim has to offer. No 5 Acres cove, was perfect, spacious, safe with a garden and children’s play park & tennis courts just around the corner. We also used the leisure center in the Ramada Hotel 5 mins away There is so much to do and the kids had a ball, in particular they loved Loughkey forest park, the flying eagles in Ballymote, Tullyboy farm and the Arigna mines, not to mention the lovely lakes all over the County. We’ll certainly be back to this hidden jewel they call 'Leitrim'. "

"A great place for fishing....."
"Absolutely Brilliant Holiday"
"This is easily one of the best family holidays we have had. There is something here for everyone. Our 2 kids loved the park and tennis courts whilst my husband a keen walker strolled in and out of town multiple times a day during our week stay. There is so much to do and see around Acres Cove that you are spoiled for choice even on a wet day. Lough Key forest part is only 15 minutes drive away and the Arigna mining experience is a must see.The kids didn't want to leave and we are looking forward to coming back here again for a few days next year."
